Chartered Status Transcript
I became an Associate Member of the IET when I started working at my previous employer. They had an accredited training programme to become a Chartered Engineer and I was keen to achieve a recognised professional qualification. However, they didn’t pay my fees.
When I joined HMGCC, I wanted to continue my training and was pleased that they had an IET accredited training programme to become a Chartered Engineer. I was assigned a mentor and my subscription fees were paid for.
During my first meeting with my mentor, we reviewed the evidence from my previous workplace to see if it was sufficient enough to apply for Chartered status. It was really great to have this level of support and experience to help me on my journey.
Fortunately it was enough, and within a year I achieved Chartered status. I got to celebrate my achievement at a formal ceremony with all the other successful HMGCC applicants that year.
